This past week, many of us exercised our right to vote in the local elections. Taking part in this democratic process reminds me how important it is to choose things that match our beliefs and values – not only in politics, but in our everyday lives.
I believe in freedom of choice when it comes to our health and lifestyle. Just as we choose our leaders, we can choose a healthy path that supports a healthy life. Whether it's yoga, which gives me strength and mental resilience, Pilates, which strengthens my body and stabilises my muscles, or any other form of movement – every choice we make can contribute to how we feel overall.

Choosing this kind of lifestyle isn't always easy. It takes commitment and dedication, much like voting for a candidate who represents our values. It means making choices that support our physical, mental and emotional health, even when it's challenging.
Yoga and Pilates teach us the importance of balance and mindfulness, both on the mat and off it. They remind us to listen to our body, respect our limits and make choices that serve us in the long run. Just as we vote for leaders who will create a better future for residents, we can make choices that create a better future for our health and lifestyle.

As we reflect on the recent elections, let's also think about the choices we make every day. Let's choose movement, health and a healthy lifestyle, and stay true to our beliefs, knowing that every choice we make has the power to shape our future.
Come and choose yourself

Family movement
The summer holidays bring plenty of challenges – routine, screen time and the endless search for something to do – but also a great opportunity: family quality time that doesn't have to mean screens or another trip to an air-conditioned mall with junk food.
