True friendship (and a surprise at the end)

True friendship (and a surprise at the end)

If you ask us, movement is therapy in every sense. It's time when we connect with ourselves and work to improve physically and mentally. Most classes at the studio are individual, with as much personal adaptation as possible. But today we want to talk about training with a friend.

There's a special magic that happens when we train together. The laughter, the shared goals we set ourselves, and the bond that grows stronger when we hear each other's encouragement. Whether it's strengthening our body in Pilates or deepening our flexibility in yoga, training together doesn't only bring a physical benefit – it shapes the friendships we build. The energy is contagious: we push each other to manage one more repetition, choose a slightly heavier weight, or hold the plank for one more count.

It's not only about the feeling at the end of the workout, but the energy along the way – turning a routine workout into an experience.

Needless to say, friendly competition doesn't mean pushing ourselves beyond our limits. We don't have to do every exercise our friend does. It's important to listen to our body in that moment.

Emotionally, the sense of togetherness that grows through training together gives us strong motivation. On days when we feel slow or unmotivated, a friend can become our personal cheerleader and give us a bit more drive. Shared successes and occasional challenges strengthen the bond and give a sense of support at the studio, during the workout and beyond it. Beyond the physical gains, this shared journey builds intimacy and trust, and reinforces the idea that health isn't only a personal pursuit but a shared adventure.

True friendship (and a surprise at the end)

In a post we shared recently, we asked our clients what keeps them going at a time like this.

Shaul, one of the studio's longtime clients, said something that warmed our hearts: "Keeping my body flexible matters to me, but what really makes me come to class is meeting my friends and the laughs."

True friendship (and a surprise at the end)

The social side matters just as much, especially for our mental wellbeing – the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a group can strengthen us a lot, especially right now.

Practising Pilates or yoga together with a friend takes the benefits of training one step further.

The synchronised movements create a sense of harmony. Every pose becomes a kind of dance, and every breath is in sync.

Today's youth

We're Agam, Meshi and Tamar, 15 years old, and we've been training together at the studio for about half a year.

For us, friendship is a word with many meanings – trust, honesty, consideration, openness and more. Our friendship shows at the studio too: for example, in Pilates classes we encourage and support each other to keep working even when we're a bit tired of the exercise.

Also, in yoga classes, when one of us manages a certain pose we cheer each other on, which makes us succeed and enjoy it even more. Besides, especially at this time, all we want is to stay in bed and rest – but the fact that we train together pushes us to sign up for classes and do things that make us happy. The studio has strengthened our friendship, because even after class we hang out together, eat ice cream, sit on the grass and talk.

And a word from us about the girls –

They approached us on their own initiative to take part in the studio's "behind the scenes". They do their personal-commitment volunteering with us and take an active part in promoting the studio on social media.

One more thing created together, through teamwork and friendship.

True friendship (and a surprise at the end)

And finally, we've prepared a special surprise to encourage you to bring your friends to train at the studio.

For December only, we're running a bring-a-friend offer.

For every person you bring to the studio who buys a class card, you'll get 10% off your next card.

We can't wait to meet your closest friends!
